Connect to the Arts Community

One of the most important parts of Arts Alive!'s mission is to bring the arts and culture community together - and to speak as the expert on arts, culture, and creative economy in the region. We offer artist and maker business training workshops, convenings of the creative community, and advocacy for the creative economy and arts. Having a strong and well supported arts community is important. At the bottom of this page are other resources to connect the arts community. To get listed, send us an email!

Artist to Artist

Arts Alive! works in partnership with The Hannah Grimes Center to present monthly Artist to Artist workshops. In these workshops presenters share tips and tricks to improve creative industry business practices - from Marketing and social media to selling platforms and copyright law, these free workshops cover what artists need to know to run successful businesses. Read our Artist to Artist Blog for take-aways and handouts from these presentations.

Creative Community "Plenary"

Some days its hard to stop and take a breath, step back, and look at the big picture...

Arts Alive! hosts quarterly retreats and meetings with creative leaders from across the region.  These leaders are out in their communities, on the front lines of community development, audience building, and more. Plenaries and leadership retreat events are for our membership.

Arts Advocacy Events

Arts Alive! partners with other organizations in the community to teach audiences about the creative economy in the Monadnock region. From the economic impact of creative businesses, to the value of creativity in the workplace, to the transformative power of engaging in the arts - these events are engaging, informative, and help us bring greater understanding to the importance of supporting and engaging with the region's rich creative community.

Arts Alive! Costume, Prop, & Set Swap Facebook Page

Arts Alive! helps facilitate the sharing of resources (costumes, sets, and props) for productions in the Monadnock region. To share your barn full of costumes, storage unit full of props, or bag full of set decorations with a theater or production group in the region - or if you are producing a work that needs 25 matching gingerbread man costumes (for example) - join our Facebook group, introduce yourself, and post away!

This is just the sort of collaboration Arts Alive! loves to help facilitate. If you have an idea of tackling a community need in a collaborative way, reach out - we're here to help!
